What you should know about Koen Overlaet-Michiels

Koen Overlaet-Michiels holds a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering (KULeuven) and specialized his skillset via a Master in Financial Management (Vlerick Business School) and a Master in Real Estate Management (Antwerp Management School).

He began his career in Investment Banking at KBC Securities covering (non-)listed real estate; learning the in- and outsides of real estate funds and performing significant fund raisings (> 1bn EUR). Subsequently, he switched towards the real estate transaction market at CBRE Capital Markets being responsible for industrial and logistics transactions (c. 1bn EUR of deal making) and worked at a construction company setting up an investment division.

As a real estate entrepreneur, he founded C3 REP - Climate 3nergy Real Estate Partners with a vision to respond to the trends of Urbanization, Digitization and Energy transition creating vital infrastructure for more sustainable cities.

Koen is blessed with his three C's at home Catharina, Camille and Charlie, and a dog Basiel. He finds pleasure in supporting his kids in Hockey and enjoying a good dinner and glass of wine. To free his mind, he enjoys running, golfing and skiing.
